Abbasource Select IDEA Magazine to Follow the Experience Journey at Salone del Mobile 2021
Abbasource appreciates the work of media community to spread the nation’s creative spirit to the global market. On September, 23rd 2019 Abbasource launched www.abbasource.com and Open Call Indonesia Creation (OCIC) 2019 and invited the media to contribute in this
creative’s effort by spreading the information.
“To appreciate the media’s contribution, Abbasource will provide a returned airticket and accommodation to one of journalist (who provides the best media coverage) to join with us at Salone del Mobile. We hope that we can share the experience and to build the creative community in Indonesia together,” said Indra Febriansyah, Chief Community Officer Abbasource.
The final decision to select the best media coverage is based on the journalist written coverage on the event. Writing criteria includes data accuracy, the theme, and the format of the story line. From the result of media monitoring conducted by the Abbasource team, Abbasource selected Akhmad Juanda with the article “Furniture Design Competition from HDMI (The Indonesian Furniture Designers Association) and Abbasource for Salone del Mobile Milano 2020.”
The actual date of Salone Del Mobile was supposed to take place in April 2020, it was subsequently postponed to June 16th to 21st 2020 but due to the prolonged pandemic, it was finally targeted to be heldin April 2021.
Abbasource has shipped out all the products to be displayed including the OCIC 2019 winners’ products to Milan, but the event was ultimately postponed until next year 2021. Abbasource is certainly committed to bring OCIC 2019 main winner, Vincentius Aldi Masella and also
journalist to participate in the following year’s event. OCIC will be held every year and we intend to bring along journalists who have provided the best media coverage to join this prestigious exhibition in Milan.
Abbasource is ever committed to take one of the media partner to Milan yearly. Therefore, this year, Abbasource have decided to continue to provide an opportunity for the best media coverage winner to join theSalone del Mobile 2021.
